Open Link Monday

Better late than never in the garden...

Good day to all who have made the imaginary garden with real toads a regular place to visit on a Monday.  As always, the invitation is open for you to share a piece of creative writing with us - there is no regulation, theme or time frame governing your selection.

We ask that in the spirit of sharing this space with others, that you will visit the sites of the poets who post their poetry alongside yours.

I posted one of my favorite poems - a few of you have read it before, but most of you have not. It carries my message, and I figure at the end of a long winter, is worth posting again:)Happy Monday, kids. It snowed a little over night. Confusing the crocuses yet again.

This is a real oldie, back when I first started writing poetry, and experimenting with breaking the sonnet form while retaining it. Something about Autumn brings back memories.

and in the name of silliness... the profound snoring of madwomen.

Shawnacy, your piece was surreal and sublime.really like it but failed repeatedly in commenting on it.an almost epiphanic shutout.hope you'll read this.

My apologies if I'm behind in leaving comments. A close friend is having some personal issues that have me tied up time-wise. I will try to return later.

That lady looks pretty terrific--the grass, the figure, the sleep! I'm afraid what might grow on me would be fungus. K.
