Harvest Moon

My friends, tonight’s Harvest Moon begs for a response. Here she is, as seen last night from Northampton, Massachusetts.

And here she is, in a song that needs no introducing.

Your challenge is to share a new poem inspired by Neil Young, the Harvest Moon, being still in love, dancing, flannel, trucks, sexy backup singers, or anything else your heart desires related to any of the above. Can’t wait to read your Harvest Moon inspirations.

Wonderful idea, Marian! My daughter is going to her last school dance tonight under the Harvest Moon. Seems auspicious.

One of the best songs of forever, Marian, and the moon is always a generous muse. Today is shot here, but will see if I can't find something later.

'Scuse me, but I'm going dancing...

I followed a link from someone else blog and had no idea everyone was writing poems about September and the harvest moon. As I had already written such a poem today I decided to link up! This is my first visit to this blog.
