Welp. Here we are. Another set of days has run amuck, and we find ourselves at the end of yet another National Poetry Month. The brave among us have completed monumental feats of poetry....others have done a really super job of cheering the braver ones toward the finish line. No matter which camp you belong to, this is your last chance to put pen to paper and take part in our prompt a day parade.
Toads, I proudly set before you one last challenge
A BANG...A WHIMPER....A SYLLABANT HISS
A few minutes from now, you will lose all means of communication with humanity. You will not die, but will no longer be able to interact with the world. Whats the last thing you say?
KEEP IN MIND
Like every challenge, your poem must by newly written for this challenge and not one which you have previously written which conveniently fits the theme.
So go now, my muddy buddies, and bring us back something shiny and new.
a very apt prompt for today; thanks for the April sail here at imaginary garden.
And today is a Poem In Your Pocket Day
A very creative day to all
I can't believe we made it. I'm a bit delirious, but quite content. I really like this prompt. You asked, and I'm telling.
Happy Thursday! And mega-Happiest end of the Cruellest Month! ♥
I managed.. 30 poems (in 20 days)...
Beautiful way to end the month :D
Thanks to all the prompters. You had a hard job keeping the excellence up. I appreciate each of you!
Oh, I do love a poetry parade-how clever of you!
Oh, thank you for this great prompt! I have been doing the 30 poems in 30 days, and got stuck the last couple days, but this got me going again! Congrats to everyone who made it through the month, writing, reading and/or cheering!
Thanks all. Thanks thanks thanks. k.
Thanks to everyone who read what I wrote. Thanks especially to those who commented. I really hadn't written in nine months, so I'm glad this challenge came around when it did.
I'll still be writing, so come on back and set a spell. Love and gratitude, Mosk
This is pretty much how it feels right now.... Won't be entering today (as I know I won't get around to reading and commenting and it wouldn't feel right). Thank you for a lovely prompt though. Hope to be back to see you all soon.
Thank you for this inspiring challenge, Izzy!
Happy last day to everyone and a big kudos to everyone that participated and gratitude to everyone that read and left such generous comments all month...I really appreciate each of you...thank you!
i'm begging my words to stand for something. else.
Interesting. I went all SF! :)
Oh, and can't end the month without saying what a treat it has been to play with you all here. Such brilliant poets all, and so appreciative of each other! I've loved the reading as well as the writing to the lovely prompts. Dear toads (and fellow visitors) now that I've found the garden, I'm never leaving!
Well we made it :D
Hope you all like my poem :D
Lots of love
