Hello, a trip to China on gossamer wings anyone?
The county of Luoping in eastern Yunnan is
noted for its beautiful scenery in spring, when its fields of canola (also
known as rapeseed)
flowers are in full bloom, surrounding the area's mountains with a sea of
golden flowers to spectacular effect.

Hi Hannah, your beautiful fields of canola helped me to write about one of my students, who passed away today after suffering an aneurysm. She was 16 years old. However, I used the harvest of damascus roses as a metaphor for her life.
I want to read all the poems this prompt inspired once I have come to terms with the grief. I have not linked up my poem, but want to thank you for the means to find words for loss.
