The Tuesday Platform

a dream
that became a reality
and spread
throughout the stars

Welcome to the Tuesday Platform, the weekly open stage for sharing poems in the Imaginary Garden. Please link up a poem, old or new, and spend some time this week visiting the offerings of our fellow writers.

Joined with a moon poem I wrote last week... slightly different from my usual thoughts.

I'm with Gillena, in thought. I don't want to get up and post, I'd rather post before I go to bed. I dream of a pickup truck like this one, it isn't a reality yet. I had this poem blogged back in 2008, it has a little more mileage I hope.
The truck is a 1949 to 1950 Ford F1 model.

this link up is a great chance to catch up and read other poems so thanks for that
mine is a test of imagination!

[struggling to post with all the proving I'm not a robot - went through 6 street signs, 2 stores fronts and 3 number squares and then it did not post]

Laura, your link is linked!
Good morning, friends... Do you realize that this week is the 50th anniversary of the first episode of Star Trek? Swoon!
I'll be around to read all your offerings, and I need to catch up on weekend posts too. Hope everyone is well and happy.

Oh, sorry, forgot to remove the (2); there's no (1) here.

Lovely to see the crew of the Enterprise!

Hello Toads! I hope you enjoy my post on Visual poetry. I've fallen in to Instagram and have spent the week trying out the medium, so hence that spawned a blog post on it. :-) Look forward to reading your offerings!

That's a quote from Captain James T. Kirk. My (10-year-old) daughter has admonished me for not attributing it to him here! OOPS

Hello everyone, am slowly getting back, into blogging, again, after several months of struggling with chronic depression and other health issues. Have posted a poem that I wrote 4 years ago, at the beginning of the school year, then, about missing out on my senior prom. I know things have changed since 1990, for the better, in most areas, but this really hurt me.

Hello, Toads! I've been offline the end of this summer. So many nice things are happening to me and although I didn't mean to take off time from writing it ended up that way. I should be back fully the first of Oct. Going out of state to see my family the end of this month.

I enjoy this prompt it gives me a chance to show off older poems that not many have been seen yet. I hope you like "It's My Song." I'll be around to read this week.

Have a nice week Toads! Bekkie
