One must make a distinction however: when dragged into prominence by half poets, the result is not poetry, nor till the autocrats among us can be “literalists of the imagination”—above insolence and triviality and can present for inspection, imaginary gardens with real toads in them, shall we have it.

I love the image, Kerry! I'm sorry it's short and sweet today but I have my daughter and grandson staying until Monday and I want to make the most of them! I wish everyone as wonderful weekend as the one I'm having.

Hello, friends. I have been rather absent of late, with work taking up much of my time. I am looking forward to reading the responses to this photo prompt. I do believe it is a hydrangea.
Up, up and away.

Thanks for hosting Kerry! Such an intriguing image - haunting.

I've offered a short short - a 55 actually. And I've posted on WP - I'm having cosmic interference with my Blogger site right now ... (setting up to growl long and hard) .... but it will pass, I hope. And more to the point, Happy Camera Flashing and may everyone have an incredibly wonderful weekend.

I'll be back tomorrow to read and catch up.

I've written two 55 flash ditties since coming to bed tonight. I'll also read in the morning. Thanks, Kerry. They are both for you, here aND first linked in your comments for yesterday

It's been some time but I'm in this week. I'm a day late but I do like image challenges. I'm finishing up to link and I'll be around to read the next few days.

It's been a fun summer with plenty of bike riding. Have a great end to your weekend!

Hugs!
