Open Link Monday

"April Come She Will ..."

Image from Favim

Welcome to the imaginary garden with real toads, where everything is possible on a Monday.
The idea is to bring and share: bring a poem, bring a friend, bring a greeting, bring your good cheer and share a few words of encouragement, support, admiration and thanks with those whom you meet here.

There are no rules or limitations to the OLM.  All are invited to link up the poem of your choice for today's reading pleasure.

Thanks always for sharing your poetry... Mine is a new poem from the Chieko poems series, that I am adapting from the classical works of Japanese artist Kotaro Takamura. Just finished last night - "Two of Us".

It's a long story, a journey, and it is the abbreviated truth.

It is always wonderful to see several newcomers linking up on a Monday, and our regular visitors too. I would like to point out, though, that this is a small site, with around 30 links on a Monday. Thus it is immediately noticeable when someone links a poem, but makes no attempt to read and comment on any other poems. These people should not be disappointed, then, to find that their posts are ignored too. You will always reap what you sow in this garden.

Wow, I havent even had my coffee yet and look at all the early birds.......yippee. Great reading while I sip my brew. I posted an oldie simply because I thought of it this morning. Have a great Monday, toad-kind.

Thanks, Kerry, for keeping this great site so active and wonderful. I know it is a lot of work, and I so appreciate it. I also really appreciate the smallness and closeness of the members. It is a treasure, that I feel very fortunate to belong to.

Thank you again, for this amazing place to share, and for access to so many wonderful poets.

April Come She Will--one of my favorite songs! (My birthday month and what always seems like the true beginning of spring around here.) My poem is a character study--of a real character.
