Open Link Monday

Welcome to the Imaginary Garden...

Photobucket

Good day to all members, friends and visitors on another glorious Monday. To those who have completed the first week of NaPoWriMo, we offer words of encouragement and invite you to share one of the poems that you wrote this week, which has not been linked to a previous prompt on Real Toads. We would love to have the chance to catch up on any great poetry we may have missed. To our regular followers of OLM, please feel free to link up a poem of your choice to share with us today. Visits and commentary are always much appreciated.

This was for last Tuesday's challenge from Fireblossom - Let's Do the Time Warp. I tweaked the rules a bit by three years ... ?

Happy Monday, Toads... I'm a bit sad my vacation is over... sigh.

Oooh, ooh, I got one for you, Mr. Kotter! I just wrote it too!
I don't know if any of you remember Welcome Back Kotter. Gosh, I'm old!

I'm stuck now. This weekend nothing seemed to be forthcoming, so here one from last friday that some may have seen already. I'm finding it very difficult compared to last year.

In for a penny, in for a pound - and I'm in for 30 days of April, it seems! Thanks for the chance to link the latest ♥

I added my Wordsworth-themed poem which I wrote yesterday and added very late in the day.

Mine is from Day 2. For six days, I was blocked from Blogger and so received no prompts from the Garden and had no access to my own Blog. What a relief to be back! This poem was an exercise in writing dactyls that turned into more, I think, with attitude and beat.

HI!! It was really nice of you to stop by to pay me a visit over the weekend.

And I must say I LOVE this beautiful golden yellow tulip. The water droplets make for s delicious, dramatic image.

Asteria, I did visit you, and what a gorgeous blog. Title included in comment.

This poem is the only one I have written for NaPoWriMo that wasn't to a Toads prompt. I've pitched a very small tent in a back corner and plan to stay all month. THe vibe, the smaller community here... I truly appreciate this blog. Thanks so much, Amy

Kerry, thanks for the welcome. The coffee was great this morning, brewed as it was on the glowing campfire. I'm thinking of putting a Marriage Equality rainbow flag - small, tasteful - atop my tent!!

Love all you Toads, Amy

What I've foisted upon you good people is a re-build of something I'd submitted to journals here and there without realizing just how bad it was. I think it's slightly less awful now.
