One must make a distinction however: when dragged into prominence by half poets, the result is not poetry, nor till the autocrats among us can be “literalists of the imagination”—above insolence and triviality and can present for inspection, imaginary gardens with real toads in them, shall we have it.

Open Link Monday

Welcome to the Imaginary Garden ...

See Photo Credit Below

Good day to all! I hope this Monday finds you all in fine health and happy spirits. Our anniversary month has kicked off to a great start with the first of our featured collaborations between Real Toad members.

As vacation time continues, I am aware that many are enjoying time off, and often this is away from blogging.  However, I do hope to see members and followers making use of the opportunity OLM offers to share your work in the garden: something written on your own initiative, or in a context other than RT prompts and challenges. Here we may get feedback, or ask for comments on a work in progress, even bring out an older poem and have it read by new eyes. This is a community of poets and, as always, I ask that if you link up a poem, you will also take the time to visit the blogs of other poets who have offered poems of their own to read and return commentary which has been made on your blog.

Hey Kerry! Thank you for the first meditation of Monday, as usual. Good morning, Toads and friends, have a great day!

Will be on a short 'hearts reprieve' starting tomorrow. This will come without my computer so that my eyes can see beyond and my other senses will gather wanton and juxtaposed memories.
My two kids, Jules and Jaz along with my lovely wife will be at my side sharing a momet of life.

see you in four

hasta manana mi amigas y amigos

Last one to post I guess. Having no restriction, no theme is kinda defeating a total tv bug like me. Therefore reposting a recent small piece with my own clicks.

started commenting and the rain lifted ... so I must walk my five miles (twice daily) ... on a mission to get into shape.. not bikini shape, but some sort of firming will do ... :)
