The Tuesday Platform

Welcome to The Imaginary Garden...

“Failing to fetch me at first, keep encouraged. Missing me one place, search another. I stop somewhere waiting for you.” ― Walt Whitman, Song of Myself

Greetings to all poets, friends and followers. Tuesday is Open Link day here in the Garden. All are welcome to participate by sharing a poem of their own choice, something freshly ground or taken from storage. Please take the time to visit the links of your fellow poets.

Here is one from 2014 which somehow didn't get seen by many people. But I can't keep my eyes open and must get off to bed – will read other people's tomorrow.

Love those lines from Whitman, Kerry. I resurrected an old one that fits the season. Will be around after chores to read and visit.

I'd like to apologize in advance in case my free verse offering offends anyone's sensibilities... it's a bit hard on online poetry, in a way. Please bear in mind that at the same time, it IS online poetry. I had just binged on AllPoetry and was in a mood, haha.
