Fireblossom here with the gala return of Fireblossom Friday. Don't worry, I scored tix for everyone!
Ever think about all the expressions there are for different kinds of tickets?
Maybe you've got a friend. You've known them so long that they've "bought their ticket" with you and you know you'll always be there for each other. Friends are good!
Maybe you've "punched your ticket" and so won't be writing for this prompt? Gee, I hope not!
Maybe you need a "ticket out." Like, right now!
Or maybe it's just an annoyance, like a traffic ticket.
Got two tickets to Paradise?
Or, a ticket to ride and you don't care?
Write me a NEW poem or flash fiction which includes some kind of a ticket. Any length or style except haiku. Haiku makes me run amok, and we can't have that. Then sign the linky and visit others. There, that's the ticket!

Loved the prompt, Shay!💞 'Got two tickets to Paradise' really did it for me as the words came rushing out. Happy Thursday, everyone!💞
Yes, this is just the ticket, Shay.

Hi Shay! Love the prompt! I got tickets to the best show in town!
Added mine... will be back tomorrow to read... it's getting late here.
Life in my own hands...just sayin ;)
The post did end up inspiring a piece, only it wasn't poetry, so no Linky!
You probably wouldn't like my poetry blog anyway. It's chock full of Haiku.
This is the piece that was inspired, if you're curious.

The word ticket took me back to my childhood - your prompt has given me some great memories, Shay!
As always you come up with the most original ideas, Shay. I hope to have something for you by tomorrow--it's chaos here right now.
Paul--posting haiku anyway was sort of funny the first time you did it, but the second time not so much.
Cara--Toads welcomes flash fiction. Please feel free to link up!
Afternoon, Toads! Thanks, Shay, for helping me remember good times like he one I shared!
Fair Cop. Won't happen again.
