One must make a distinction however: when dragged into prominence by half poets, the result is not poetry, nor till the autocrats among us can be “literalists of the imagination”—above insolence and triviality and can present for inspection, imaginary gardens with real toads in them, shall we have it.

I'm posting today's prompt a little early. I am battling with insomnia and find myself to be very tired in the evenings. Winter time up north makes noon rather late for me.

I'll work hard on this one. "Wide open" for sure. We have travelled to North Louisiana and might come up with something. Our Rio Grand River, border between Texas and Old Mexico, which flows through a deep.sharp-walled canyon comes to mind seeing the photograph here.
Get lots of rest, Kerry. We n=ed your expertise.

But...but...all I have is a stupid iPhone camera and no money to buy better equipment. I never get to play with the cool kids! :-(

Do hope you've managed to get some sleep Kerry.
Cheers for the excellent prompt. Could you please delete my first attempt at entry, as it ended up being a dud.
