FLASH 55 PLUS!

Quote of the Day (2 June 2015)

The first Sunday of June is upon us, and it is time for Flash 55. The rules of this prompt have not changed: Write a piece of poetry or prose on a subject of your choice in precisely 55 WORDS.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

PLUS!

The optional extra for this Mini-Challenge is to visit the BrainyQuote site and choose one of the Quotes of the Day as inspiration for your poem.

Went a bit further afield for my quote, but it is from that site. Thanks, Kerry, for hosting the 55, as always. I will be around later, after chores.

This was just the magic to expand upon a line birthed this morning and thank you for the "plus," as well, Kerry. :)

I see belatedly it is supposed to be exactly 55 words. I shall go back and readjust!

I didn't do the plus. Another subject was very insistent. :)

As I'm always at least a day behind, I've made a two for one day, thanks to combining with another prompt. :-)

I really like that Brainy Quotes site and couldn't resist another one--this one from a Douglas Adams quote. Thanks. k .

I don't know how brainy I was on this. I did manage to keep it at 55 words.

Each time I do a prompt I read these comments and get confused. 55 words right? Mine is up but it's a poem I wrote not a quote. Hugs all around!
