For the OPTIONAL EXTRA part of this challenge, I invite you to consider the artworks of the Nigerian painter, sculptor and musician known as Twins Seven Seven. Born Prince Taiwo Olaniyi Oyewale-Toyeje Oyelale Osuntoki (3 May 1944 – 16 June 2011) in Ogidi, Kogi State, Nigeria, Twins Seven Seven is best known for his paintings in the Naive Art or Primitivism style. His work is influenced by traditional Yoruba mythology and culture, and creates a fantastic universe of humans, animals, plants and Yoruba gods.
You may peruse his work on WikiArt.Org.
Please Note: If you upload a painting which is protected by copyright, it is best to cite Fair Use Principles:
- It is a historically significant artwork
- The image is only being used for informational and educational purposes

I just spent quite a bit of time delighting in Twins Seven Seven's artwork. Love his use of color and the texture of his work. Thank you for introducing me to another great artist, Kerry.
Happiest Saturday, everyone!
I did love the artwork... but I had to browse around quite a bit before finding the one that fitted my words today... Happy Weekend to you all.
I like his baby naming ceremony. Such is my title
No doubt the artwork was exciting. But not so much as – well, you'll see.
Thanks for the introduction to Twins Seven Seven's work, Kerry, and for hosting. His paintings are much more full of light than my words, I'm afraid, but thanks for the nudge to write, anyway.
I hope we're allowed two! I started playing with an idea, and there was no stopping me.
Nice, fits a bit of my recent doodling too
I'm so glad I checked back - I didn't see this prompt on Saturday and I love the artwork! I love them all and had trouble choosing, but continued with the dream theme I started with this morning! Thanks for sharing the images!
