One must make a distinction however: when dragged into prominence by half poets, the result is not poetry, nor till the autocrats among us can be “literalists of the imagination”—above insolence and triviality and can present for inspection, imaginary gardens with real toads in them, shall we have it.

I have posted a poem I wrote last year. It's one I particularly like, simply because it's almost true.

I put up a couple of oldies, different to what's becoming my usual.

Blogger seems to get everything to me a day late, so here's a Tuesday link for Monday!

For some reason, I have been unable to link directly to this post - its unique URL doesn't appear when I click on its title? I did try yesterday, but had the same result. Just thought I'd tip you the wink, and see if others had noticed the same problem?

I am linking one that I wrote on Sunday for 'The Sunday Whirl'. :-)

By the way, would it be possible to have my other blog 'Panopticulated' linked on the blogroll as well as 'Out of my Ocean'? As I post all the things I write from prompts at Panopticulated, and all unprompted poem at Out of my Ocean - Phew! I hope that makes sense. LOL
