A Cameo Performance ...

The Cameo is a purely syllabic form consisting of six lines with the following syllable count: 2, 5, 8, 3, 8, 7, 2.
It is English in origin and is well-suited to a brief portrait in words, or character-based piece.

Schematic:

This is a simple challenge for your Sunday. Enjoy.

This is an old one from me by way of example. I shall come back around with something new later in the day.

You are really good at finding these short forms, Kerry. Another one I'd never run across before. Enjoyed working with it and didn't even have to chop up an old poem to do itthis time. ;_)

Never heard of this form before. I count 7 lines though, not 6. Typo?
