One must make a distinction however: when dragged into prominence by half poets, the result is not poetry, nor till the autocrats among us can be “literalists of the imagination”—above insolence and triviality and can present for inspection, imaginary gardens with real toads in them, shall we have it.

Open Link Monday

Welcome to the Imaginary Garden ...

... which is filled with waterlilies today, as an introduction to our fresh, new look.

My warm greetings to all who pay us a call to visit, read or share a poem or a word with friends. The month of November is almost at an end and this is a week of Thanksgiving for our American members, as they look forward to a the long weekend.

I also take this opportunity to notify the RT community that I will be away from my computer for the first two weeks of December. Marian will be holding the OLM fort for the duration of my absence, and Shay is on stand-by to assist with any Linky troubles that may arise. Please contact either of these gals should any matter of concern arise, as I will be completely out of it until mid-December.

Without further ado, let's get to the order of this post, which is the opportunity of adding a poem of your choice to the list below. Have a wonderful day!

Have a wonderful two weeks off, Kerry. Thanks for all you do, and thanks to Marian and Shay for keeping the pond in order in your absence.

Hey Kerry--if there is anyone I can think of who deserves some time away from the computer, it is you. I hope you are doing something wonderful. Take care, and thanks to Marian and Shay too, as Hedgewitch says. k .

Thanks, Karin. Unfortunately, it is not a holiday but work related. I would far rather be enjoying my summer vacation, but needs must. I shall miss my daily time spent on RT, but hopefully I'll be able to pop in on occasion - if only on my phone.

I totally love the toad and lilies, Kerry. I am posting a tanka I wrote during your last prompt. I'm lying low while getting my first collection ready to go. It is more time consuming than I thought it would be, but I am almost there.

enjoying the new background. grateful you don't have autoplay sounds (ribit, ribit, or music). dragged out an older post which sort of kind of suits Susie's prompt, too. Good week to all ~

Have a good two weeks away, Kerry, though it sounds more work than respite. Thanks to Marian and Shay for standing by. We shall all be Good Toads:)

As my efforts to create anything new have floundered on the rocks like some unfortunate Mayflower, I've sanded and varnished an oldie to submit for your approval.

Sometimes we really have to make some rest to get over a lot of stress from our work we allways love to relax with differnt things but live into the wild is what we need, maybe we can simulate that with mobile apps
