One must make a distinction however: when dragged into prominence by half poets, the result is not poetry, nor till the autocrats among us can be “literalists of the imagination”—above insolence and triviality and can present for inspection, imaginary gardens with real toads in them, shall we have it.

Good Morning Marian. Thanks for the Patti Smith video. Wonderful. I went all Celtic and soulful this morning after a walk on the land here.

Since this looks like an open link I entered a poem I wrote for Mish's prompt at dVerse Poet's Pub. Nice performance of Blake's Tyger.

Friends, I have a couple family things happening that are keeping me away from the Garden... but I'll be around soon to read your entries! Just wanted to say so. Hope you are all well and having a good week. xo Marian

I had this written yesterday but was late linking up. I hope you like it, it's my favorite subject. I'll be around to read this week. That song was good, I haven't listened to Patti Smith in some time. Have a great week!

Thotpurge-why would you close comments on your poem? I couldn't leave a comment.

I have a complaint and wonder if you can't help me? I have a hard time seeing the color difference after I read a link. The purple to green change isn't enough for me to see easily and it's hard to see who's links I've read. Could you see your way to change it to a color easier to see?

Sorry! Hugs! Bekkie
