If These Walls Could Talk . . .

A step inside Kaplica Czasze in south-western Poland reveals a chilling site. Thousands of human bones, ravaged by war and disease, are stacked on top of each to construct the building's walls and ceilings

Hi MZ & Friends, I'm totally off the rails! Wah! Had a nice long celebratory weekend (my daughter's birthday) and now I'm sick. I lost yesterday completely to bed and delirium. Am attempting to head to work this morning, but now I feel guilty and strange about being several poems behind for April, and about not being in the Garden for the past several days. Argh!
Well anyway... this is a lovely prompt, MZ and I hope to rise to it. Carry on, everyone! xxoxo

I agree, great challenge. It was a much-needed wake up call into the land of writing.

Wonderful challenge...I have been at work since 7:40 this morning - teaching + parent-teacher interviews and arrived home at 9:20pm tonight. Saw this prompt and had to write before collapsing into bed. Still have to catch up on visits, but that will have to be tomorrow night after work.

This one speaks to me... (or maybe screams). I will try to write something and read through the entries on yesterdays open platform... Yesterday I was home at 11 so I never had the time to read....

Hey everyone,

I must admit I'm a tad bit nervous posting this poem.. but just couldn't resist the challenge. Sharing my poem "Confession." Hope you all like it.

Thank you for the wonderful opportunity MZ. This one's for you!

Lots of love,
Sanaa

What fun Mama Zen!!! When I saw the Trump wall (great choice BTW) I decided to share an old Limerick of mine along with a new one just for this! I'll be around to read real soon I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

I used another Trump photo already or I would have used the one posted.

I'm feeling much better now, finally over that horrible flu and riding my bike again. Have a great hump friends! Hugs!

That was a fun one. I took the opportunity to write another persona poem, which I always enjoy.

Thanks so much, Mama Zen. Loved this (though i do wish I'd known so many would choose the confessional.) ;)

I created a fun one, I hope. It can be found at poetryofthenetherworld.blogspot.com
Thanks to everyone who has visited. The place I have been working the past two nights has terrible internet service.😔

Running behind this week - still need to visit and comment on all the poetry from Tuesday - which I will most likely get to this weekend. Will hopefully be able to grab a few challenges from the past couple of weeks and play with them as well and post next Tuesday! Thanks for the challenge.
