This is how I rounded off my Kerouac weekend. Thanks to all who may have already read and commented on it over at Poets United.

As it is Passchendaele, some toads were likely harmed in the construction of this piece.
This is not one of my best, but it is what came to me today. It is what it is!!
The leaves will soon be falling, leaving us with bare branches and a longing for summer. It made me think of this old one of mine. :-)
I see I shall have to counter the Fall feeling by writing about Southern hemisphere Spring!! I'm feeling very chirpy...
