This is how I rounded off my Kerouac weekend. Thanks to all who may have already read and commented on it over at Poets United.

an apt poem for the day perhaps haha - just a surreal ramble as per usual!

I found an old poem that I still enjoy reading. I thought I'd share it before I head off to work. I hope you like it too.

@ Seek the Sun... We'd love to read your poem, but it seems this link is faulty. Would you please try again?

As it is Passchendaele, some toads were likely harmed in the construction of this piece.

This is not one of my best, but it is what came to me today. It is what it is!!

The leaves will soon be falling, leaving us with bare branches and a longing for summer. It made me think of this old one of mine. :-)

I see I shall have to counter the Fall feeling by writing about Southern hemisphere Spring!! I'm feeling very chirpy...

I wrote this on Saturday with no particular place to link it to - Now I hope you don't mind sharing with the tenuous link to d'Verse's subject. I was unaware of at the time of writing, and Toads may have been the ideal only link if I'd waited patiently!
