April One / One Love

Welcome to National Poetry Month, Pond-Dwellers! It's April 1. Let’s celebrate our love of poetry in April with a chaotic cacophony of words and verses! Ready, set…

Your prompt is simple today. Let's write poems about being first, or on the subject of one--the power of one, one love, first in line, one is the loneliest number, we're number one--you got it. Go!

Can someone link my post to this challenge from my blog today. I can’t figure out how (if I even can) as Mr Linky does not show up on my Phone app. (I prescheduled all my poems this week). I can’t visit and comment either but when I get back home from vacation I will catch up on this week. Thanks. And Happy Easter, Toads !

I wonder if I'll be able to keep it up this year. I've started small and lighthearted :) Happy NaPoWriMo!

Is it just my tablet failing to load the page or has the Linky disappeared? Yikes.

Same issue with Mr Linky at Poets United. I am guessing its a technical problem and hopefully will be resolved soon.

Hello again to friends I haven't seen in a long time. I've decided I'm "all in" with the prompts here this month, rather than bouncing among three different sources. Here's my "one" poem: https://marilyncavicchia.com/2018/04/01/one-door/

Yes, me too, Kerry. I tried commenting everywhere but was having trouble! Really good poems to kick off April. And now... day two.

I've been absent from Toads for awhile, but better way to jump-start April, no fools here, than GLOPOWRIMO/NANOWRIMO!
I'm so excited that Kerry and Co. is hosting a 30/30 challenge! Thanks so much!
I'm looking forward to it and to reading along 🍃
Love the new colours and Toad - totally rocks!
