~Photography, for me, are the muses’ eyes, providing a means of capturing and displaying the fleeting moments of what is visually inspiring to me.

~Writing, for me, is the muses’ mind, it makes visible that brief, passing goose-bump-good feeling that I get when I’ve perceived a raw moment of inspiration.

~I find it amazing that our thoughts can pattern themselves into visible creations in the form of singular words, growing sentences and mounting paragraphs; we create line after line what we want our readers to see, we make visible the invisible makings and imaginations of our minds.

~Poetry provokes me in the space of lacy- lucid-dreams, whispering wished letters that swirl into lengthy lines leading me deeper into their design. Free verse is woven in the pattern of plans, the concrete creation of each intricate detail of day.

The Sunday Challenge is posted on Saturday at noon CST to allow extra time for the creative process, so please do not link up old work which kind of fits the image. Members will only respond to poetry written specifically for this prompt: this is in the spirit of our Real Toads project to create opportunities for poets to be newly inspired. Management reserves the right to remove unrelated links but invites you to share a poem of your choice on Open Link Monday.
Wow, Kerry! You did such a beautiful job putting this together. I'm so honored to be featured here and I look forward to all of the poetical peeps inspired words. Thank you and smiles!! :)
These are just gorgeous photos, Hannah--thanks so much for sharing them with us. I love them all and will be hard pressed to pick one. And thanks to Kerry for such a nice presentation of Hannash's words and pictures.
I fell into your pictures with a passion today, Hannah, and thank Imaginary Gardens for the display. When my brothers and I were small, red poppies grew wildly and wildly grew along the west side of our home. A baby could have been lost in them while we were already as tall as corn fields after the 4th of July. Thank you for the brilliant inspiration! I'm trying for Haiku-ness.
Thank you, Hedge, I look forward to reading you!!
Susan, such wonderful memories! I'm so glad you were inspired. Thank you!
My Sweet Hannah, what beautiful, artful photos! Our Creator is the ultimate artist, isn't He? And He has obviously given you an eye and heart for His work.
Oh, Marie!! I agree SO much, He is amazing ALL credit goes to Him, really! I'm so blessed to get the chance to enjoy nature! Thank you for this lovely comment, my friend!!

Okay toads and toadettes--I'm in. Still not quite used to this audio thing, so please forgive the roughness there. Hannah, I couldn't stand it--had to use two of your lovely pics. I'll be back tomorrow to read.
Hannah, your beautiful pictures brought a sense of peace and tranquility to my otherwise stressful life. I always find nature very calming and love your poem "Furled Fists" - lovely image: "soft-fiddled-fists/felted origami. Beautiful!!
Thank you for featuring the multi-talented Hannah! I've known this stunning poet through her words since 2009, and she has quickly become one of my favorite poetic voices. Her photography and her "whispering wished letters" always, always point me to hope, truth, and the shining Son.
Oooh a forest of beautiful photos and of course Hannah's lovely voice as a guide and accompaniment ... Lovely yesterday - somehow even lovelier today. Wonderful interview :)))
