Sunday Mini Challenge ~ Hallelujah

Greetings, toads!
This time of year, we all seem to celebrate some wonder or joy,
sing praises, raise strains of hallelujah...

To inspire your own rendition of praise, I share two videos.
Watch them.

Feel the emotion in each. Hear the beauty in both.  Become inspired.

Write.
Share.
Hallelujah!

Every once in a while, I wish that I still sang. Cohen does that to me.

Wow! I forgot how much I love Cohen. What a gut wrenching performance.

Cohen does that to me, too. Masterful!

I have a feeling I'll write more than one of these. Both inspire, but Cohen is boss, and I hope the other singer had permission ... or is it the other way around? Thank you, Kim.

OK, forgive me, as I wrote another and want to share it here with those who can't't stop themselves when it comes to "Hallelujah." I haven't any of the spice of Cohen's, but maintained his meter and repetition.

Lord above. The Christians can't be satisfied taking the poetry out of the bible, now they have to take the poetry out of Leonard Cohen songs, too?

Just got back from a weekend with my husband celebrating his 50th :) I will take a look at this and post something on Monday.

Now THAT was a challenge ! My first thought was "it's a gimmie" and then I realized it was a hard fought battle to win !
Enjoyed the battle, not sure if what I wrote fits the bill, but I gave it my all.
Peace
Siggi

This is just a terrific prompt, and I wish I had lived up to it.
