― Joni Mitchell
I wish all friends, new-comers and regular followers a very pleasant Monday, the first in the month of June.
It was with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Maya Angelou, last week but I believe there is cause to celebrate a life well-lived, and to recognize the immeasurable contribution she made to the literary world, as well as to remember her humanitarian efforts.
Once again, our open link affords everyone the opportunity to share a poem of their choice, and to provide an array of exceptional poetry to read and enjoy. We hope you will find the time in your busy Mondays to pause here a while, and enjoy the companionship of your fellow poets.

My poem is from Saturday's prompt. Have a fine week, Toads.
Happy Monday to all!
Three weeks to Midsummer, but it already looks like it now. Happy days whatever your season.
Hello Toads,
I'm back for good and I wrote this poem last night just for you.
Kisses!
I wrote a poem from words i Jotted down while reading a Brave New World during my flight yesterday...
Happy monday, pond dwellers. I had a poem occur, so linked it in--I will be around later today to visit.
And thanks to everyone who played in the FF55 challenge this weekend!
Hi Kerry, Good (USA) Morning! I know morning is gone where you live. But I had to say it because we are finally home here in Texas.
That means I won't write something new for today because I have to go through 50 days of unread mail and pay lots of bills. So I'm entering my "Go to the Shed" poem again today from Saturday. I hope you don't mind.
..
Thanks, Jim. It must feel good to be back on your native soil.
good Monday, Toads! good to see you. :)
Happy Monday!! Hope all will have a great week!!
Ugghhhh....Good Morning. I think.
Dusted off one from 2012 this morning, kids. Have a great Monday everyone!
I seem to be somewhat preoccupied with my blood sugar, and also occupied with the ongoing renovations in our house, but I'll be back with something if I can.
Meanwhile, Kerry, I love the Joni Mitchell lyrics you quoted. A lovely sound to have in my head today.

Hello toads!
I've been freed up just a bit for just a while! Had to jump into the garden while I could.
It's Tuesday and I was so inspired to read Sherry's post. Sad that such amazing animals are at risk.
